Weight training

Weight training is an amazing way to strengthen the body, helping you fight off ailments such as osteoporosis, arthritis, and many other conditions that plague us in our later years.

There are many forms of weight training, but we at Flex Revolution believe that both circuit training and super sets formats are the most effective methods.

Circuit training

Studies show that circuit training is the most time efficient way to enhance cardiovascular fitness and muscle endurance. Clients work through a series of 6-7 different stations of exercises in each “circuit.” This method targets strength building and muscular endurance in a fun, varied way that keeps individuals motivated and engaged.

Supersets

Supersets are 2-3 different exercises done repeatedly. Supersets are used to bring focus to specific areas and muscle groups. Supersetting is an excellent way to maximize the benefits of your workout in a shorter time.

Band training

Bands are very effective for safely strengthening muscle groups in extremities and core.

Foam rolling (Myofascial release)

This is an amazing comprehensive exercise to relieve trigger points, knots, and increase blood flow. It is called the economical self-massage.  Great to relieve back, leg, and hip pain!

Corrective stretching and exercise

Way to lengthen and strengthen muscle groups to enhance balance and stability as you advance towards your fitness goals.
